The Chasedale is an ideal centre from which to explore the lower

reaches of the Wye Valley (AONB) and the Forest of Dean to the

south, the Malvern Hills and Black & White Villages of Herefordshire

to the north, The Golden Valley, the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains to the west and the Cotswolds to the east.

For the more energetic the sporting facilities readily available include

tennis, bowls (indoor & outdoor), cycling, horse riding and canoeing.  

Golfers are spoilt for choice with a wide variety of courses within easy

reach, including the 2010 Ryder Cup Venue which is just over

half a hour from the Hotel!
