Built c.1870, this large Victorian house "in the dale of the Chase",

the wooded hill which still provides an impressive backdrop for

the Hotel.   

Situated only half a mile South of the centre of Ross on Wye,

in a designated conservation area, the Hotel is comparatively secluded being surrounded by grounds extending to three

quarters of an acre.  There is ample car parking in front of the house.

Many of the original features of the house have been preserved including the tiled entrance hall and the elaborate ceiling

plasterwork in the lounge and dining room.

Our comfortable lounge, with it’s well stocked bar, is the ideal place to relax and unwind or in the peace and quiet of the garden.

WiFi is free and available throughout the Hotel.
